HIV-related Stigma and Discrimination: Late Testing, Late Treatment in eastern Europe and Central Asia. Findings from the PLHIV Stigma Index in Estonia, Moldova, Poland, Turkey and Ukraine 
The HIV in Europe Initiative has supported the study "HIV-related Stigma: Late Testing, Late Treatment" to be released in relation to the European HIV Conference in Tallinn. The study confirms that an alarming number of people who suspect being HIV positive get tested late, with fear of stigmatization and discrimination being a serious concern.

Working Group on Estimation of HIV Prevalence in Europe, AIDS 2011
The article, recently published in AIDS, recommends minimal case reporting data needed to better estimate the number of patients with undiagnosed HIV and encourages all countries to implement several methods.

The Third HIV in Europe Conference is being planned for early 2012 and will be held in Copenhagen coinciding with the Danish Presidency of the EU. More information on final dates and programme will soon be available.
